Part 1: Ask yourself a question. Where have I been giving alcohol credit for something that's actually mine? For example: Your confidence, your humor, your sophistication, your ability to connect.
Part 2: Take Action: What would it look like to practice doing one of those things without the prop? For example: Going to dinner and you order a mocktail and you leave when you want to. You don't leave when everyone else leaves. Or - You show up to one social event without trying to manage anyone else's expectations.
