Meet Lindsay Hennekey

Sobriety Coach for High-Achieving Women

It's about more than not drinking. It's about living, alcohol-free.

Hi, I'm Lindsay!

I am going to show you how to regain your energy and confidence and feel so good - that the need for a drink won't even cross your mind.

I was the woman, who on paper, had it all figured out. The impressive 6-figure career, the perfect husband, family and friends that supported me, a workout regimen that was no joke. I was successful, trusted, respected, and the kind of person that had you second-guessing how many hours are actually in the day.

Yes, I was crushing it. If I set my sights on something, you better believe I was going to make it happen. But being accomplished, being a high-achiever, being the one person that everyone could rely on to get shit done - wasn't the whole picture.

Because somewhere along the way I had also become the woman who was drinking to manage all of it.

I was a daily drinker for more than a decade. It was common place for me to drink a bottle or more of wine each night. And eventually, this daily habit chipped away at my ambition. I was in a seemingly never-ending cycle of telling myself “I won’t drink today” as I was riddled with guilt and shame from drinking too much the night before. By midday, I would be fantasizing about drinking and I'd find myself back on the couch with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc in time for the 5 o'clock news. I knew I needed to change. It simply wasn’t sustainable: my health, relationships, and success were starting to suffer.

And just like that...
Feel Good AF was born.

Hold up, not quite so fast.

First there were the literal years of trying to moderate, trying to convince myself I could have "just one". Then of course there were the rules, short breaks, the miserable attempts at Dry January...you name it, I tried it. I thought that if I could just try hard enough (it seemed to have worked elsewhere in my life) that I could figure out how to slam the door on this part of me that I was so desperate to shake.

And then two things happened that created a meaningful shift in my life:

  1. I got to the point where I had a hostile uterus and I had to have a hysterectomy. I was deeply concerned that there would be complications with the anesthesia due to my drinking. I think it goes without saying that I had been lying to my doctor for years about how much I drank.

  2. I landed my dream job. I quickly realized I could not function on the level that I wanted to. There was no way I was going to keep up or excel in this new role if I kept up my daily drinking habit.

You may have experienced a pivotal moment like this, too, but it was these two life-changing moments that really made me see my drinking in a new light, and understand that I had been drinking all these years to cope with everything that life threw at me. I didn't want to "cope" anymore. I wanted to become someone who was so in tune with myself, and what I wanted in my life, that I didn't need to hide, or numb, or escape from any of it. Tough stuff, included.

This is when Feel Good AF was born.

Finding freedom from alcohol was possible for me, and it is possible for you.

When I figured out how to quit drinking, I never felt more powerful. My career exploded with multiple 25% pay increases, accolades and recognition like I had never received before. And after a great run at my "dream job" I finally had the courage and confidence to walk away from a impressive corporate career and follow my true passion in this work.

I couldn't keep what worked for me to myself. I needed to show women who like me, weren't seeing their experiences, their relationship with alcohol reflected in any other programs out there. I needed them to know that AA isn't the only option out there for quitting drinking.

Inside Feel Good AF we rewire your relationship with alcohol by transforming the emotional patterns, beliefs, and habits that have been keeping you stuck. It is based on boundary work, letting go of unhealthy habits and building new healthy habits, nervous-system regulation, inner dialogue rewiring, rediscovering your confidence, keeping promises to yourself, and so much more.

It's almost funny how much I love my routines nowadays. Especially my mornings. I used to sleep through my alarm after the ever-present and ever-disruptive 3:00 am wake-up calls, miss my workout classes, swing through the drive-thru for something resembling breakfast, and just barely make it to work on time.

Now I wake up every morning right before my alarm after a restful night's sleep. I have my quiet time with a cup of coffee, do some journaling of planning, never miss a workout, take time to walk my dog, and start work with my second cup of coffee in hand, filled to the brim with gratitude.

The work takes time and it isn't always easy. But it completely changed my life - and has changed the lives of hundreds of women, who like me, now feel good in the most honest and true sense of the word. Through the Feel Good AF methodology, you stop focusing on what you are giving up by ditching alcohol and start paying attention to all that you will gaining in your life.

So, what do you think?
